Radiant Continues Supporting Local Schools

We are excited to introduce our Shining Schools Program as a more expansive approach for continuing our support of schools in the communities we serve.

For the past number of years, we have supported local schools in need with our School of the Month program, and our previous $10 for Teachers program. Our new Shining Schools Program allows us to offer greater support across our full 22-county service area by allowing local schools to drive their own participation. We look forward to celebrating the schools in your community.

How does it work?

The Radiant Shining Schools Program awards schools throughout each academic school year by offering schools in need within Radiant's service area to apply for our special $1,000 award.

Schools can apply by sharing their school's specific needs and how they would use the award to benefit their students, classrooms, or teachers. Applications also include the opportunity to submit optional photos or videos that help tell their story and highlight the impact the funding could make.

Applications are reviewed based on demonstrated need, potential community impact, and how the funding will benefit the school. Each application tells a unique story, and Radiant is proud to support projects that help communities shine brighter.

Schools selected to receive a Shining Schools award will receive $1,000 to support their identified needs, along with a Recognition Kit that includes a commemorative certificate. Throughout the year, Radiant will celebrate award recipients by sharing their stories, photos, and the positive impact they're making across our communities through social media, our website, and other media opportunities.

Award funding may be used for classroom resources, educational programs, student enrichment, technology, supplies, campus improvements, or other initiatives that fulfill a specific need and positively impact students and the school community.

How To Apply

Any public or charter school within Radiant's 22 eligible counties (Alachua, Baker, Bradford, Citrus, Clay, Columbia, Dixie, Flagler, Gilchrist, Hamilton, Hernando, Lafayette, Lake, Levy, Marion, Nassau, Putnam, St. Johns, Sumter, Suwannee, Union, and Volusia in Florida) may apply for the Shining School Award by using the button below.

Applications must be filled out by a Principal, Vice Principal, or another school administrator authorized to apply on the school's behalf.
Only one submitted application will be considered per school and per academic year (duplicate entries do not increase chances on winning). Applicants will be considered throughout the entire academic year.
Previous winners are not eligible to win again for the following academic school year but are encouraged to apply again in subsequent years.
Schools may use the funds at their discretion for needed school improvement or student benefit, but the check will be awarded to the school - not a specific program, teacher, or student within the school.
Upon receiving the Recognition Kit, schools will be asked to take a photo and/or video for use on our social media channels.
Submitting an application does not guarantee an award and Radiant has sole discretion in selecting recipients.
Radiant reserves the right to verify the school's eligibility and request additional information regarding the proposed use of funds.
